Lots of people have health needs and low income but do not meet all the criteria to qualify for Medicaid or other forms of insurance. For young people, if your parents don't have insurance or you live on your own, qualifying may be hard.

Community Health Centers
Lots of Alaska Community Health Centers have dental services. And FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTERS with dental services can offer cost options based on income for those that qualify. You'll usually hear this called 'sliding scale' fees.
IN ANCHORAGE
Anchorage Project Access serves Anchorage (plus a 10% out of area exception), providing care and care navigation to people without any form of insurance who QUALIFY for the program. It can be intimidating to figure out all the eligibility guidelines- give APA a call and let them help walk you through!
The University of Alaska Anchorage's DENTAL HYGIENE PROGRAM provides low-cost preventative care at their on-campus dental clinic. See details below!
